Since 2014, families pioneering the creation and development of the city and the country have a “place of memory” in the oldest and most popular district of Lubumbashi. The sincerity of their illustrated lives brings an unusual truth, with contagious emotions and flavors worthy of great novels.
A permanent exhibition and temporary installations experience stories of ordinary people and winks at the country’s history, family memory and collective memory and, in general, interest in consultation and knowledge, conservation and sharing of the past.
The Yabili Family Museum is accessible, free of charge, by appointment only.
Address: 1 Avenue Basanga, Kamalondo, Lubumbashi
